Jing Qing Pavilion

Design Description:

“The wise are happy with mountains; the benevolent are happy with water; wise men are active, and benevolent men are quiet; wise men are happy, and benevolent men enjoy longevity.” ——The Analects of Confucius. Thinking and feeling both “mountain” and “water”, taking landscape as metaphor and pointing to people, this space tells the story of a hidden attitude towards life in the city. The Oriental style is transformed into the axis, while the essence of traditional Chinese culture is extracted and infused into modern life, and a low-key and simple beauty is conveyed through the construction of the space.
